1. Our 1-Butanol solvent conforms to GB/T 3044-2019 standards, with a purity ≥99.5%, meeting the needs of fine chemical and industrial production.
2. Our n-butanol lab grade solvent can dissolve various resins, oils, and organic compounds, suitable for various formulation systems.
Some n-butanol for herbicide production on the market suffers from purity fluctuations, unstable moisture and impurity control, etc., which can easily affect resin dissolution efficiency, product formulation stability, and downstream product quality. Unstable supply cycles can also disrupt normal production.
Liaoyang Zhongshi Chemical has long-term cooperation with large domestic petrochemical enterprises and ISO-certified production bases, establishing a stable supply system. Relying on a CNAS-accredited laboratory, we implement dual quality control of "factory testing + outbound re-inspection," providing customers with COA, MSDS, and complete batch traceability information to ensure stable product quality and timely delivery.

Hazard Class
Butanol API production solvent is a hazardous chemical. n-butanol is listed in *List of Hazardous Chemicals* as well as being considered a Hazardous Substance by international transport regulations. UN Number for it is UN1120 and it falls in the category of Flammable Liquids class 3. Its flash point is 35°C as per closed cup testing and it has a moderate vapor pressure. The risks of combustion could be present where there are high temperatures, fires, or sources of ignition. It is therefore compulsory that the handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of this chemical must strictly follow hazardous chemical management requirements.
Logistics and Transportation
As a professional chemical product supplier, we have established a comprehensive hazardous chemical transportation management system. For n-butanol industrial grade, we use iron drums, IBC containers, or tank trucks that meet hazardous chemical transport requirements. The packaging is well-sealed and properly affixed with hazard labels, UN numbers, and transport labels. During transportation, we only cooperate with logistics companies possessing hazardous chemical transport qualifications. Vehicles are equipped with fire-fighting, leak-proof, and emergency response equipment, and strict fire prevention, anti-static, and collision prevention measures are implemented to ensure safety and controllability throughout the transportation process.

Upstream Laboratories and Technical Support
Relying on upstream cooperative production bases and CNAS-accredited laboratories, we have established a comprehensive n-butanol quality testing system. The laboratory of the parent company has at its disposal more than thirty high-quality analytical instruments. Some of these are nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Moreover, the lab is also equipped with SmartLab X-ray diffractometers. With such advanced instruments at its disposal it can precisely detect n-butanol purity, moisture content, color, acidity and impurity level etc., which are important parameters. It also possesses over 300 sets of catalyst evaluation and distillation experimental equipment, continuously optimizing product quality stability and providing stable and reliable product support for the coatings, resins, adhesives, and fine chemical industries.

Why Choose Us?
Founded in 2012, Liaoyang Zhongshi Chemical offers n-butanol and diverse supply chain services for different organic solvents. With a strong industry insight, the company is experienced and can help clients find solutions effectively. In addition, our customers include major oil and petrochemical companies such as CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC. Furthermore, through our three production bases we work closely with the manufacturers who have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 certifications. We have the ability to provide 20,000 tons of annual supply, and at any given time we carry about 100 tons of stock inventory. Orders can be placed on a minimum of 1 ton, and usually it takes us 7 working days to delivery regular orders so we can meet our customers' procurement needs consistently and reliably.
Given the high purity and batch stability requirements of n-butanol, widely used in coatings, inks, resins, adhesives, and chemical intermediates, we utilize a CNAS-accredited laboratory to implement dual quality control: "factory testing + outbound re-inspection." We rigorously test key indicators such as purity, moisture, color, and acidity to ensure batch consistency of over 99.9%. Each product is supported by a Certificate of Analysis (COA), Material Safety DataSheet (MSDS), and complete quality history records, making the sourcing process more transparent and trustworthy.

FAQ
1. What purity of n-butanol do you provide?
We usually provide n-butanol which is at least 99.5% purity for industrial applications. For a tailored product meeting very peculiar customer demand, along with that, the Company of Record Certificate (COA) will be issued, the purity being different.
2. What is the MOQ?
The minimum order quantity here is 1 ton. You can choose any of the below mentioned packaging options: iron drums, IBC containers, or tank trucks.
3. Do you support export?
Of course, we do. Export documentation such as dangerous goods packaging certificates, COAs, MSDS, customs declaration documents, and certificate oforigin will be issued in accordance with international trade standards.
4. What packaging specifications do you provide?
Based on customers' needs, different packaging methods can be provided, such as 170kg or 180kg iron drums (depending on actual supply), IBC containers, ISO tanks, and tank truck transportation. Customized packing can also be offered in accordance with export requirements.
