A fine chemical manufacturer from Southeast Asia has long been sourcing methanol, ethylene glycol, acetone, ethyl acetate, n-butyl acetate, and various environmentally friendly hydrocarbon solvents for the production of resins, industrial cleaning agents, and coatings. As their business expanded, their existing suppliers began experiencing issues such as unstable delivery cycles, the need for separate procurement for different products, and inconsistent export documentation. This led to increasing procurement management costs and even impacted production plans.
When seeking a new supply partner, the client desired suppliers that could not only provide stable product quality but also supply a variety of chemical raw materials, possess extensive export experience, and demonstrate consistent delivery capabilities.
After thoroughly understanding the client's product applications, procurement plans, and target markets, we developed a one-stop procurement solution tailored to their diverse product lines. In addition to basic chemical raw materials such as Methyl Alcohol and ethylene glycol, we also simultaneously sourced acetonitrile, cyclohexanone, cyclohexane, propylene glycol, isoparaffin solvents, and dearomatic solvents, enabling the client to centrally procure multiple raw material categories and reducing the time spent coordinating with multiple suppliers.
Regarding quality control, we provide COA, MSDS, and test reports for each batch of products according to the customer's application requirements. We also rely on a CNAS-accredited laboratory to retest purity, moisture content, color, acid value, density, and key physicochemical indicators to ensure consistency across different batches. For environmentally friendly solvents, which are of particular concern to customers, we also provide specialized testing data on aromatic content, sulfur content, and volatility to help customers successfully complete product validation.
Considering that the customer's purchases include both general chemicals and hazardous chemicals, we have developed a unified export logistics solution for them. Depending on the product nature, we use various packaging methods such as 200L iron drums, IBC containers, and ISO tanks, and assist in preparing export documents such as dangerous goods packaging certificates, transport identification certificates, certificates of origin, and SGS test reports, effectively reducing the customer's communication costs in international logistics and customs clearance.
After the first order was delivered, the customer reported stable product quality, standardized packaging, complete export documents, and that the goods arrived at the destination port smoothly as planned, meeting the continuous production needs of the local factory. The centralized procurement model significantly improved customer procurement management efficiency, shortened procurement cycles, and effectively alleviated inventory management pressure.
Subsequently, both parties gradually expanded their cooperation scope from a few products initially to over ten types of chemical raw materials, establishing quarterly procurement plans and long-term supply mechanisms. For products with high demand, we arranged advance stockpiling and shipped in batches according to customer production plans, effectively ensuring production continuity and reducing procurement risks caused by market price fluctuations.
